Peacocks

Good afternoon

The Parish Council hope that you are all keeping safe and well in these turbulent and unprecedented times.

A matter has been brought to the attention of the PC, asking for assistance, in relation to numerous bodies who appear to be obeying the ‘staying at home’ quite literally – The Peacocks.

Whilst these birds are beautiful to look at, they are causing damage to residents properties, including cars. It appears they are in quite a condensed area, where it is believed they may be obtaining food supplies.

The Parish Council would ask residents to consider everyone who lives in the village, and please not encourage the peacocks, and certainly not by feeding them.

Thank You

A Message from your Parish Council.

The Parish Council take this opportunity to wish the residents of Killinghall all the best in these unsettled times.
In line with Government advice, the Parish Council have closed The Glebe Play Area until further notice. They would ask that all residents respect and heed the closure for their own safety.
As a Nation, we have been advised to remain in our own homes, observing isolation and, if having to venture out, social distancing of 2 metres.
Should anyone choose not to heed the closure of The Glebe, the Parish Council Insurance will not cover them in the event of an accident.
We hope that everyone stays safe and well, and look forward to welcoming you back to your village play area once normal life is resumed.
Should you need to keep abreast of events your Parish Council has a website (Killinghall Parish Council) and also this facebook account where updates will be posted.
